According to the annual report of TV Tokyo Corporation, Naruto series is enjoying popularity around the world. As of the end of March 2008, Naruto has been published in 23 countries in manga format, broadcast in more than 60 countries, and related licensed merchandised sold in over 90 countries.

The annual report refers to Naruto as one of the most powerful content items in TV Tokyo along side Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! The numbers released in the report are evidence of the global popularity of the show. It is also indicated that Pokemon has been watched in 68 countries; however, Naruto has aired in almost the same number of countries as Pokemon in a short period of time.

TV Tokyo anime business is growing every year internationally in all segments, and titles contributing to the company’s financial results are Pokemon, Nartuo, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Bleach, and TV Tokyo plans to push and put major efforts on its flagship titles of the future, Blue Dragon and Gintama.

I was just clicking around looking at the latest news, and I came across this article regarding an Indonesian teenager who won the Bronze medal for weightlifting just a couple days ago at the Beijing Olympics. The interesting thing found out from the article was the fact that this 19 year old teenager, Eko Yuli Irawan, is actually a huge Naruto fan. "Naruto is my inspiration. I believe I have more potential which needs to be explored," says Eko.

Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles (Shippuuden) 70 has been released by Dattebayo. You can go ahead and download the full quality video or watch it online through us. We've decided that from now on, we will probably just provide the full video file instead of a smaller compressed file. Technology is getting so advanced these days, there really isn't a need to make files smaller because people will still be able to download the larger files in a short amount of time. In doing this, we also will be able to release the episode faster because we don't need to put in the extra hour to re-encode the file.
